Teaching UNIV 101 and UNIV 301

Teaching UNIV 101 is an exciting way to engage with incoming students and help them develop a greater understanding of the role that General Education plays in their undergraduate studies. UNIV 301 allows instructors to engage with students as they approach the end of their Gen Ed experience, reflecting on their learning through their Gen Ed ePortfolio. Capped at 25 students, these classes provide an opportunity to engage in discussion with their peers and instructors, developing a close learning community.

UNIV instructors teach a minimum of 2 sections using a pre-designed curriculum. Main campus UNIV 101 courses are 50 minutes, once a week for the full semester. Online sections of UNIV 101 (for Arizona Online and International Direct) and UNIV 301 (online for all students) are 7-week sessions.
